ARTICLE 1 - MEMBERSHIP

SECTION 5 - DISTINGUISHED FELLOWS

Para. 1

Distinguished fellows may be chosen from men who have distinguished themselves by:

  1. working within a school of engineering, science or architecture for the betterment of the school for many years; or
  2. providing significant financial support to or working for the betterment of a chapter of TRIANGLE Fraternity for many years.

Para. 2

The application for initiation as a distinguished fellow shall indicate two-thirds (2/3) favorable vote of the active organization and must be accompanied by a letter of approval from the duly authorized representatives of the chapter's alumni organization to the National Office.

A candidate for distinguished fellow may also be elected by a unanimous vote of National Council, and shall be initiated by the TRIANGLE Chapter designated by National Council.

Para. 3

A candidate for distinguished fellow shall be pledged and initiated in the same manner as an honorary member.

Para. 4

Distinguished fellows shall have no vote in chapter or national affairs.
